In working with LBFE, I had the pleasure of using design skills to give back to my community. The design process for creating marketing material for LBFE consisted of several steps. First, I conducted both online and in-person research to get a feel for the brand’s personality, their core values, and how I could aid the organization accomplish their mission. Next, was the creating process: I made a moodboard, taking inspiration from the organization's physical space, website, and imagery. I then proceeded to make various iterations with different design directions we could take, getting helpful feedback from the Executive Director along the way. Keeping the older audience in mind, I made sure to design a layout that allowed for larger text for increased legibility.
